The 15th Annual Witches of Delray Bike Ride returns Saturday, October 24, 2026, for one of Downtown Delray Beach’s most spirited Halloween traditions. Hundreds of witches will put on their best costumes and decorate their “brooms,” and then take a festive, police-escorted ride through the heart of the city.

Check-in begins at 7:00 a.m. at Delray Beach City Hall. After that, riders take off at 8:00 a.m. sharp. From there, the route winds through historic downtown, Atlantic Avenue, and Pineapple Grove before finishing at Old School Square.

After the Ride: Awards and Halloween Fun

Meanwhile, music, mingling, and crowd-favorite contests continue at Old School Square. Awards include Best Witch Costume, Best Witch Cackle, Best Decorated Broom (Bike), and Best Group Theme.

Come for the costumes, then stay for the party. In fact, the morning is as much a community gathering as it is a ride.

A Cause That Matters in Delray Beach

Every registration and every pedal supports the Achievement Centers for Children & Families (ACCF). As a result, proceeds fund early learning, after-school programs, summer camp, family-strengthening services, and community programs that serve more than 700 local children and families.

Since the first ride, the Witches of Delray have raised more than $223,000 for this Delray Beach nonprofit. Even so, fifteen years later the event is still a Halloween tradition with a real local impact.

How to Join the 2026 Witches of Delray Bike Ride

• When: Saturday, October 24, 2026
• Check-in: 7:00 a.m., Delray Beach City Hall, 100 NW 1st Avenue
• Ride start: 8:00 a.m.
• After-party: Old School Square Pavilion
• Registration: Typically $75 early, then $100 closer to the event
• Age: Must be 16 or older to ride
• Waiver: All participants must complete a rider waiver before the event

Additionally, spectators are welcome along Atlantic Avenue and at Old School Square. If you cannot ride, you can still support ACCF by attending related October events or donating through the official Witches of Delray pages.

Show up for the costumes, and stay for the cackles. Most of all, support kids and families right here in our community because this tradition helps local children all year.
