The City of Boca Raton’s Summer in the City concert & event series provides a line-up of FREE activities.

Friday, July 24  – Hamilton: Movie of the Stage Performance

Celebrate America’s semiquincentennial with a free showing of the smash Broadway hit – Hamilton! This filmed presentation of the musical is part of the City of Boca Raton’s programming in honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary. 

Hamilton tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. Filmed at Broadway’s Richard Rodgers Theatre with most of its original cast, the cinematic recording famously blends hip-hop, R&B, and traditional show tunes into a revolutionary theatrical experience.

All tribute concerts and the Battle of the Bands are FREE and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets, with limited seating available on a first come, first-served basis.

FAQs:

• Blankets and chairs are welcome, but for your convenience, chairs will also be available to rent for $5.00 (cash only).
• Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, carpool, and use free parking at City Hall and the Boca Raton Library.
• Food and beverages will be available to purchase inside the venue.
• Outside food, beverages, and pets are not permitted.
• One UNOPENED bottle of water per person is permitted.
