Celebrate the magic of the season as the City of Delray Beach kicks off the holidays with the lighting of our iconic 100-Foot Christmas Tree! Gather with family and friends along Atlantic Avenue and enjoy a festive night filled with music, entertainment, food, and holiday cheer.

✨ Event Highlights

• Watch Santa light the 100-Ft Christmas Tree, a beloved Delray tradition

• Step inside the tree to explore animated scenes celebrating the history of our “Village by the Sea”

• Experience Santa’s Holiday Village including:

  • Ice skating

  • Carousel rides

  • Mini golf

  • Meet-and-greet with Santa inside his house

• Enjoy street wide fun with food vendors, games, activities, a silent disco, and carolers

• Atlantic Avenue will be pedestrian-only — perfect for strolling and celebrating safely

🎁 A Tree with a Story: From Roots to Riches

Did you know the tradition began with a 50-foot tree purchased by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) in 1993 to help revitalize a struggling downtown?

Two years later, in 1995, an additional 50 feet were added in celebration of the City’s Centennial — 100 feet for 100 years!
Today, a brand-new 100-foot tree continues the tradition as Downtown Delray thrives as a year-round destination for locals and visitors alike. It’s a shining symbol of pride, history, and community spirit in our Village by the Sea.
