Craft Food Tours was founded in 2016 out of a deep appreciation for family, friends, community, and the joy of shared experiences. Having traveled extensively and sampled some of the best cuisines in the world, we felt inspired to bring our favorite passion—food tours—to our own backyard here in South Florida.
The idea first came to life during a culinary adventure in Austin, Texas. While we had taken food tours before, something about Austin’s vibrant craft food and beer scene opened our eyes to a new world of locally sourced, high-quality flavors. It was there that the concept of Craft Food Tours was born.
Eager to bring this experience to Delray Beach—one of the fastest-growing foodie towns in the country—we connected with fellow tour operators nationwide and trained under Shane Kost, founder of Chicago Food Planet and Food Tour Pros. His workshop gave us the tools and confidence to turn our vision into reality.
Back home, the fun truly began. We ate, drank, and explored our way through Delray Beach, discovering hidden gems and beloved favorites. From the very beginning, the community embraced our idea, and the city’s restaurants welcomed us with open arms.
