There are several yearly events that are very popular in the city: The Pompano Beach Holiday Boat Parade, The Yuletide Parade, The Annual Nautical Flea Market at Pompano Community Park and Amphitheater, and The Annual Blues and Sweet Potato Pie "Juneteenth" Festival to name a few. Every November come see the coolest free annual "Drone Show Extravaganza" held right on the beach just south of the famous Pompano Beach Fisher Family Pier. It is truly spectacular! There also is a theater in the area - Curtain Call Playhouse. Like to shop? Come out to Pompano Citi Center open-air shopping mall and have something to eat too!
